On March 31, a charity event was held in Kyiv for children from the Kherson Region with IDP status. About a hundred of children received gifts and participated in an entertainment program at the wonderful Blockbuster Mall partner location. The initiators and organizers of the event were the charitable platform Dity.Help and the charitable foundation Support Kherson.

“It’s always a good time to organize holidays for the kids. Their childhood was stollen and we want to give them moments of joy. For our charitable foundation it is important not just to hand out gifts, but to create an atmosphere that will be a warm memory of this terrible period,” said the head of the Support Kherson Foundation, Nisar Ahmad.

“Happy faces and smiles of children are a small victory of our event. Actually, we live, work and fight the enemy for the sake of such emotions,” added Dity.Help speaker Serhiy Kovalchuk.

The festive atmosphere was created by the host couple with Novokakhovka roots, Denys Zhupnyk and Oleksandra Kozyr. The little guests were entertained by animators to fiery tracks by Dj Polinka. Also included in the program was a lesson on weaving a motanka doll and a dance master class by the star choreographer Serhiy Kostecki. Masha Danilova, Dimaria, Aina Vilberg, Ivan Marunych from the band Karta Svitu and Denys Zhupnyk performed a musical program for the guests. The invited artists have their own personal history with the Kherson region, some started their career there, some were born there. Thanks to the children’s holiday everyone has felt their native Ukrainian Kherson region.
